Hendrick Polanco My deepest condolences January 3, 2015

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

Your Sister, Sheri Still Fresh for as Long as it Takes September 10, 2009

To My Beloved Brothers and Sisters and Daddy,

It's still fresh. The pain, the hurt, the grief. And it's ok, no matter how long it takes.  Or maybe we will never get over the pain in this lifetime until we see Mommy again. And that's ok too.  Mommy was a very very special lady. She loved us with all her heart!  Now, she is rejoicing in God's presence.  Let us take comfort in knowing she is with her Savior, Jesus Christ.  I love each and everyone of you and I am praying for you.

I can't imagine the heartache that u have for Mom seeing as both of u lived at home with her. However, I just want to tell u that as ur older sister, I am here to help in anyway that I can. Our comfort will always come from the Lord. All u have to do is ask.We will always miss her and our tears will always be there. But you know what, since Mom loved to dance and sing, she is doing just that in her glorious body with no more aches and pains, and of course in her beautiful dress that God made especially for her(more beautiful then the one that she wore her last days). Just think she is with God All Mighty dancing and singing for Him. Once again, I love you very much and I'm here for you. May there be PEACE and COMFORT in ur hearts alway. Be STRONG and of good COURAGE.

Jenna I LOVE YOU! June 2, 2009

We thought of you with love today,

 but that is nothing new.

We thought about you yesterday,

 and days before that too.

We think of you in silence,

 we often speak your name.

Now all we have is memories,

and your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake,

 with which we'll never part.

God has you in his keeping,

we have you in our hearts.

Your Sister, Sheri Our First Mother's Day Without Mommy May 10, 2009

To My Brothers and Sisters and Daddy,

This is our first Mother's Day without Mommy, and I just want to share this with you:

Our hearts ache, like a mother's labor pain and much more

It doesn't go away, no matter what we say or do

But, on this Mother's Day let us remember too

She is with Jesus, her Creator, her Savior

In Heaven with Isaac and Raquel

This is their first Mother's Day with Mommy

The joy they must feel to be with their grandma today and   through eternity

It's our hope and comfort to know, eventhough it hurts to have

Our First Mother's Day without Mommy

I love you all very much with all my heart! My prayers are with you everyday.

 Love, Sheri

Your Sister, Sheri Mommy in Father's House March 3, 2009

To My Brothers and Sisters and Daddy,

There are no words of comfort. Only words of encouragement and hope in the promises of God in His Holy Word. Jesus said in John 14:1-3, "Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."  Mommy is with Jesus and I know we all miss her very very much. Let His Word be your comfort and may He comfort you only He knows how. I love you all so very much. And one day we will see mommy again. I am praying for you.
